Mourning the Loss of Winter...

I was going to call it <italics>The last Snowflake</italics>.

My entry for 's Global Warming Contests ([link]).

The girl represents winter itself.

<italics>She sits in a melting river mourning her need, for soon there will be no place in this world for her. Spring will take over and eventually summer will rule the day, the last snowflake falls as winter makes it's final farewell.</italics>

I know global warming has messes up the weather in a lot of places. Some places get hardly any winter any more, other places get snow ontop of more snow. Obviously this does not illustrate the later consequence of global warming.

Well umm... this picture didn't take too long but I really like it. I used textures for the first time and I expermented more with this program's effects. Yea. I probably wont win, there are a lot of neat entries, but I entered. ^_^
